The Renault factory in Villamuriel de Cerrato is the province's largest employer, with around 3,200 direct employees, and it is preparing a new industrial plan with electric and hybrid vehicles for the coming years. Around it lives a dense ecosystem of component and service suppliers, along with projects such as a logistics platform next to the Suppliers' Park.
These companies in the automotive value chain tend to have B2B marketing well behind their technical level: outdated websites, no international positioning and no lead acquisition. My job is to modernise that presence: a solid industrial brand, a conversion-oriented website, positioning for the sector's technical terms (in English too) and content that demonstrates capability to the professional buyer. Agro-industry is Palencia's other great driving sector, with leading companies such as Galletas Gullón in Aguilar de Campoo and the agri-food hub of Tierra de Campos, one of Spain's great cereal-growing regions.
