I'm Ángel Ortega Castro, marketing and neuroscience consultant. I work alongside private organisations and the public administration on strategy, branded content, applied neuromarketing and artificial intelligence projects. I work from Valladolid and Las Palmas, in Spanish, English and French, with long-term judgement and proven method.

Twenty years connecting strategy and execution.

I started in marketing when plans were still printed out and campaigns were measured with quarterly panels. I've gone through the transition to digital without losing analogue rigour: if it can't be explained on a whiteboard, it probably isn't well thought through. Trained in marketing, communications and later in applied neuroscience, my work combines classic strategic frameworks with contemporary research on how people decide.

I co-founded Summum Marketing, the agency I run B2B, B2C and public-administration projects through, and from which I lead teams specialised in branded content, corporate identity, media planning and data. In parallel, I work as an independent consultant for executives and management committees who need external judgement without retaining a full agency.

I combine consulting with teaching and project leadership at organisations such as INMEVA and Belaria, and with talks at business schools, master's programmes and industry associations. Writing, teaching and consulting are three forms of the same activity: thinking out loud about how brands and decisions are built to last.

What people most ask me about how I work.

Do you work with large organisations?+

Yes. A significant part of my work is with large corporations, usually on branded content, applied neuromarketing or executive training projects. In these cases I generally work through Summum Marketing or as an external consultant to the client's internal team.

Do you accept teaching and speaking engagements?+

Yes, it is a regular part of my calendar. I teach at business schools, MBA programmes, industry associations and corporate events. The most requested topics are applied neuromarketing, AI in marketing, branded content and digital strategy. Detailed information is available in the training section.

What is your methodology?+

Diagnosis first, proposal afterwards. Every project starts with a complimentary session in which I listen to context, objectives and real constraints. From there I prepare a concrete proposal — scope, phases, deliverables, fees — within five working days. I don't work with prefabricated commercial templates.

Do you work with the public sector?+

Yes, with continuous experience across central, regional and local public administration in Spain. Usually through tender or minor contract via Summum Marketing. I know the administrative procedures and the real timelines, which avoids surprises during execution.

What is the typical project format?+

Most projects run between three and twelve months, with clear quarterly milestones. I also accept one-off engagements: brand audits, a second opinion on a plan, in-company training or a single keynote. The aim is always to deliver something the organisation can sustain when I'm no longer involved.
