I work as a marketing, compliance and digitalisation consultant with in-person support in Salamanca and its province. The Salamanca economy is different from the rest of Castile and León: it revolves around the university, an expanding life-sciences ecosystem and a branded agri-food sector led by Guijuelo's Iberian pork. My work is to ensure that this knowledge and this product quality translate into brand, lead generation and a regulatory compliance that opens national and international markets.

My work is to ensure that this knowledge and this product quality translate into brand, lead generation and a regulatory compliance that opens national and international markets.
Guijuelo is the capital of Iberian pork and the main agri-food engine of its district, with more than 250 companies tied to the meat sector. Its meat-industry trade fair left more than two million euros in the area in its latest edition and cements it as an international benchmark. It is a sector of excellent product, denomination of origin and a strong export vocation.
The challenge for many of these companies is not quality, but telling their story and standing out in a market where the word "Iberian" is used loosely. For them I work on product branding, storytelling of origin and designation, labelling, e-commerce and multilingual communication geared towards distribution, gourmet retail and exports. Here the brand protects the margin against imitation and noise.
Salamanca hosts a cross-border biotechnology hub aimed at improving the competitiveness and internationalisation of SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well as accelerators and incubators driven by the City Council for the life-sciences and agri-food sectors. It is a young ecosystem, R&D-intensive and heavily dependent on attracting talent, funding and clients from beyond the province.
For these companies, marketing means expert positioning and qualified lead generation: rigorous technical content, a credible scientific brand, a presence in the right forums and a website that conveys solidity to investors and partners. And, inseparably, compliance: a company that handles health data or research results needs GDPR and information security resolved from day one.
The University of Salamanca, one of the oldest in Europe, sets the character of the city: thousands of students (many international), a strong Spanish-teaching sector, professional services, conferences and an ecosystem of spin-offs and technology-based companies. It is a knowledge economy with very diverse and very digital audiences.
For Spanish-language academies, training centres, professional firms and companies born from the university environment, I work on international lead generation (multilingual content and positioning), digital reputation and owned channels. Salamanca's visitor and student arrive after searching and researching online, so the digital presence decides much of the enrolment and the booking.
In Salamanca, compliance is especially sensitive given the weight of life sciences and research data. For a biotech company, a clinic or a centre that handles personal or health data: real legal texts, a record of processing activities and consent compliant with the GDPR, with the extra caution that special categories of data demand. For those aspiring to public contracts or large clients: a path towards ISO 9001, ISO 27001 or the ENS (Spain's National Security Framework). I set it out in phases, with a documentation system that is genuinely used, not a folder for the audit.
I support the digitalisation of Salamanca SMEs through Kit Digital (website, e-commerce, social media management, cybersecurity, electronic invoicing) and Kit Consulting (advice on digitalisation strategy, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity). The aim is not to "spend the voucher", but to fit the grant within a plan that makes sense for your business, whether that is an Iberian-pork producer that wants to sell online or a spin-off that needs to structure its lead generation. It is worth checking the deadlines of each call on official sources before committing.
Yes. I work in person across Salamanca and its province, including the Guijuelo district, as well as working remotely with the rest of Spain and with the Canary Islands. For new projects I usually combine an initial in-person meeting with remote follow-up.
Differentiation and margin protection. Guijuelo concentrates more than 250 meat companies with excellent product, but the word 'Iberian' is used loosely in the market. I work on product branding, storytelling of origin and designation, labelling, e-commerce and multilingual communication geared towards gourmet distribution and exports.
Yes. Salamanca has a biotechnology hub and life-sciences accelerators in expansion. For these companies I work on expert positioning, a credible scientific brand and qualified lead generation, always alongside compliance: GDPR and information security are critical when health or research data are handled.
The University of Salamanca attracts thousands of students, many of them international, and sustains Spanish-language academies, training, professional services and spin-offs. I work on international lead generation with multilingual content and positioning, digital reputation and owned channels, because the student and the visitor decide after searching online.
Health data are a special category within the GDPR and demand extra caution: an appropriate lawful basis, an impact assessment where applicable, reinforced security measures and real legal texts, not templates. I resolve it properly from day one, in phases and with documentation that is genuinely used.
The regulatory framework of Castile and León is shared, but the fabric changes. Salamanca revolves around the university, life sciences and Guijuelo's Iberian pork; Valladolid carries weight in automotive and high-volume agri-food; León combines agri-food, cybersecurity and just transition. I adapt the strategy to the city; I do not apply a template.
