Accessibility statement.

This website (angelortegacastro.com) is committed to accessibility under Spain's Royal Decree 1112/2018, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public-sector websites and mobile applications, and follows the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines as the international reference.

Compliance status.

The site is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of standard UNE-EN 301 549:2022. Some legacy interactive components still need work and improvements are pending.

Measures applied to this site.

• Semantic HTML5 structure (header, nav, main, article, aside, footer) with correct landmarks.
• "Skip to content" link available on every page for keyboard navigation.
• Colour contrast that meets at least the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
• Images with descriptive alternative text (alt attribute).
• Visible focus on every interactive element (buttons, links, forms).
• Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape).
• Base typography at 18 px with generous line height (1.7) and relative units for scaling.
• Valid HTML documents with a language declaration via lang.
• aria-label attribute on non-textual elements (logos, icons, close buttons).
• Support for operating-system preferences (prefers-reduced-motion, prefers-color-scheme where applicable).

Content that is not accessible.

Some content may not be fully accessible. In particular:

• Older PDF documents linked from the blog that have not yet been remediated.
• Third-party embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo) whose subtitle track depends on the provider.
• Mobile mega-menu components that require active JavaScript for some states.

Enforcement procedure.

If the response is not satisfactory, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Ombudsman (Defensoría del Pueblo) or the equivalent body under the second additional provision of Royal Decree 1112/2018.
